Start at Agios Spyridon, a seafront post-Byzantine church at the northern end of the bay, built over an earlier Christian structure. Follow the shore to the harbour on the Pounta peninsula, where the chapel of Agios Nikolaos stands on the approach to the pier and Raftis islet, with its ancient statue, faces you across the water.

After lunch at the harbour, go on to the white church of St Marina on the south shore and finish with a swim at Avlaki.

The harbour on the Pounta peninsula: the quay, the little church of Saint Nicholas and a view across the bay to Raftis island and its Roman statue.

Across the water stands Raftis islet with its ancient statue; there is no landing information, so it is a view from the shore.
