The story
Agios Georgios at Kadi sits in the countryside southeast of Markopoulo. Reused ancient stone and medieval paintings reveal a building with a layered history. Scholars do not agree on the dating of every construction phase, so a single founding date would be misleading. What matters here is the survival of different periods in one small church, where architecture and painting tell complementary stories.
