The story
Agios Thomas belongs to the network of small rural churches between Markopoulo and Vravrona. The chapel sits lower than the adjoining road, a detail that makes its relationship with the changing landscape especially visible. Its vaulted form has been modified through later repairs, and no old wall paintings survive. The interest here lies in the continuity of a modest local place of worship.
