Medieval Tower of Vravrona

Medieval stone tower on a low hill among cultivated fields.

The story

The tower of Vravrona rises above the surrounding fields, a reminder of medieval Attica. Its elevated position offered a broad view over the countryside, useful for watching land and routes. The structure is usually associated with Frankish rule. Today, its stone walls form a striking landmark among the vineyards. Enjoy it from a safe distance, without climbing the masonry or assuming that the interior is accessible.
