Die Geschichte
Beside Agia Paraskevi, Agia Thekla forms part of a small religious ensemble near Markopoulo’s main square. Its eighteenth-century paintings are associated with a pupil of Georgios Markou. The compact, vaulted interior shows how much artistic ambition could fit inside a modest chapel. Visit the two neighbouring churches together to appreciate both their shared setting and their individual character.
