Die Geschichte
Panagia Merenda preserves several chapters of local history in one building. The thirteenth-century church occupies the central aisle of an earlier Christian basilica. Its wall paintings span different periods, from the medieval era into the eighteenth century. Around it lies the landscape of ancient Myrrhinous.
