Die Geschichte
This is Agios Dimitrios at Dagla, a different church from the one near Vravrona. Its vaulted interior preserves paintings associated with the school of Georgios Markou, although later repainting has changed their appearance. An added entrance space records another stage in the building’s life. The chapel belongs to the rural religious landscape south of Markopoulo and celebrates Saint Demetrius on the twenty-sixth of October.
