Die Geschichte
Perati opens a window onto the communities of the late Mycenaean world. Excavations of its chamber tombs uncovered objects that illuminate burial customs and connections beyond the local coast. Some finds are now studied and displayed away from the site itself. This is best introduced as an archaeological story stop: confirm access locally, and do not expect a fully organised visitor attraction.
