Die Geschichte
At the northern end of Porto Rafti’s bay, Agios Spyridon stands close to the water. The present chapel was built over the remains of an earlier Christian church, linking today’s seafront with a longer religious history. Notice its modest bellcote and tiled roof against the sea. Its feast falls on the twelfth of December, when the coastal landmark becomes a focus of local worship.
