Start with the museum, which shows finds from the sanctuary and the wider Mesogeia, then walk the sanctuary of Artemis by the Erasinos. Inside the site, the small domed church of Agios Georgios keeps late-sixteenth-century paintings.

From the museum a path follows the wetland, a Natura 2000 area where 88 bird species were recorded in a single year, down to the bay at Hamolia for a swim and lunch by the water.
